The date of the Spring Festival varies each year depending on the traditional Chinese lunar calendar. In conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebrations, a luncheon was hosted on February 27th at the factory in Batang Berjuntai. 

We have lion dance performance and set off one string of firecrackers, which symbolize "sounding out" the old year and "sounding in" the new year. The louder the firecrackers, the better and luckier it’s believed it will be for business and farming in the coming year.

While getting together and enjoying a Chinese New Year feast, guests were also able to take pleasure in the traditional lion dance performance. The event was filled with a lot of fun activities, food and beverages that invitees indulged in.
